Bahraich, January 10, 2026 — In an exciting clash of the ongoing Sw. Kushmendra Singh Rana Smriti Glamour Type Premier League, Bahraich Hunters registered a commanding 7-wicket victory over Bahraich Daredevils in a high-scoring encounter today.
The match, played in a spirited atmosphere, was graced by chief guest Premnath Tiwari (Volleyball Secretary) and special guest Ishrat Mahmood Khan (DCA Secretary). Both dignitaries interacted with the players and officially inaugurated the proceedings.
Bahraich Daredevils captain Rohit Balrampuri won the toss and elected to bat first in the 22-over-a-side contest. The Daredevils’ batting lineup showed resilience, posting a competitive total of 142 runs for the loss of 10 wickets. Standout performances came from Anant Singh, who smashed a blistering 61 runs off 47 balls, and Syed Azam, who contributed a solid 16 runs.
For the Hunters, the bowling attack was led brilliantly by Karan Dev, who claimed an impressive 6 wickets. Hari Anant and Yash Shukla picked up 2 wickets each, restricting the opposition effectively.
Chasing 143 for victory, Bahraich Hunters started strongly. Openers Nadeem Ahmad (54 runs) and Hari Anant (51 runs) forged a match-winning partnership with fluent and aggressive batting. The target was chased down comfortably in just 21 overs, sealing a convincing 7-wicket win for the Hunters.
Karan Dev was adjudged Man of the Match for his stellar 6-wicket haul. Tushar Soni received the Best Striker award, while Hari Anant was named the Emerging Player of the Match.
