Nursing Students Take Oath Against Ragging at Dr. Sarvesh Kumar Shukla Group of Institutions

Bahraich. August 21- To create a safe and healthy academic environment, an anti-ragging awareness program was organized at Dr. Sarvesh Kumar Shukla Group of Institutions, Sablapur, where nursing students were given lessons on the ill effects of ragging and the importance of discipline and mutual respect.
Addressing the gathering, Institution Director Pallavi Shukla said that ragging not only damages the dignity and confidence of students but also leaves a long-lasting psychological impact. She urged the students to treat their juniors and peers with empathy and maintain the values of brotherhood and cooperation within the campus.
Nursing College Principal Harish Nagar gave detailed information about the anti-ragging rules framed by the government and regulatory bodies. He made it clear that ragging in any form—physical, mental, or verbal—would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
During the session, all the students collectively took an oath not to indulge in ragging nor tolerate it in any manner. The pledge reflected their commitment to building a campus atmosphere based on respect, equality, and compassion.
On this occasion, Manager Aastha Shukla, teacher Alok Shukla, Phoolchand Davaria, Mohammad Ashraf, Saumya Singh, Isha Verma, Madhu and other faculty members were also present, who encouraged the students to stand firm against any incident of ragging and immediately report it if observed.
The program concluded with the message that ragging is a social evil and it is the collective responsibility of both students and teachers to eradicate it completely from educational institutions.
