
Bahraich. The Regional Business Office (RBO) of State Bank of India (SBI), located at Tikoni Bagh in Bahraich, was formally inaugurated on 8 January 2026 in a dignified and ceremonial event. The inauguration was jointly carried out by Chief General Manager Shri Deepak Kumar Dey, General Manager Shri Anil Kumar, and Deputy General Manager Shri Raghavendra Kumar.
The ceremony was attended by Regional Manager Shri Vivek Kumar Singh, along with senior bank officials, staff members, and a large number of customers. On the occasion, the dignitaries described the opening of the RBO as a significant step towards strengthening SBI’s regional administrative and business framework.
Focus on Service Excellence and Business Growth
Following the inauguration, a special meeting was held with RBO staff and HNI/valued customers. The discussion focused on enhancing service quality, ensuring customer satisfaction, promoting digital banking, and formulating strategies for sustainable business growth in the region. Senior officials encouraged staff to deliver prompt, transparent, and customer-centric banking services.
CSR Initiative for Community Welfare

On the same occasion, SBI also undertook a commendable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. Under this programme, the bank extended support to Tharu Janjati Mahila Anathasle and an old age home. As part of the CSR contribution, SBI donated an e-rickshaw, a double-door refrigerator, and a washing machine, aimed at improving the facilities and day-to-day functioning of these welfare institutions.
