                   In a moment of immense pride for Bahraich, the district has earned prestigious state-level recognition for its exceptional success in the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination campaign. This initiative is empowering adolescent girls with protection against cervical cancer — a major step forward in women’s health.

                   Chief Development Officer Sunil Dhanvanta (IAS) was warmly felicitated with a Certificate of Appreciation by Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel. The honor celebrates the district’s outstanding implementation, seamless coordination across departments, and impressive results achieved in safeguarding young girls.

                   The award was presented during a special ceremony at the Shruti Auditorium of Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) in Lucknow. Neha Sharma (IAS), Managing Director of the Medical Education Department, also graced the occasion.

                   A visibly delighted CDO Sunil Dhanvanta expressed heartfelt gratitude, saying the recognition truly belongs to the united efforts of the Health Department, Education Department, Women and Child Development Department, Panchayati Raj Department, and the entire district administration.

                   “Together, we conducted extensive awareness drives in schools, Anganwadi centers, and communities to help parents understand the safety and life-saving benefits of the HPV vaccine,” he shared.                    Dhanvanta highlighted the significance of this achievement, noting that cervical cancer remains one of the leading cancers among women, with HPV responsible for nearly 99% of cases. He appealed to parents to get their eligible daughters vaccinated on time, calling it a safe, effective, and powerful preventive step.

                   Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sanjay Kumar said common myths, clarifying that HPV does not spread through casual contact like handshakes, sitting together, or sharing food. The virus transmits primarily through intimate skin-to-skin or mucosal contact. This makes vaccination before any potential exposure especially vital and protective.

    बहराइच। जनपद के शिक्षकों की लंबित समस्याओं के त्वरित समाधान के उद्देश्य से जिला बेसिक शिक्षा अधिकारी आशीष कुमार सिंह ने शनिवार को बेसिक शिक्षा अधिकारी कार्यालय में विभिन्न शिक्षक संगठनों के पदाधिकारियों के साथ बैठक की। बैठक में शिक्षकों से जुड़े अनेक महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दों पर विस्तार से चर्चा हुई। बीएसए ने स्पष्ट कहा कि शिक्षकों की कोई भी समस्या अब लंबित नहीं रखी जाएगी और सभी प्रकरणों का समयबद्ध निस्तारण सुनिश्चित किया जाएगा।

    बैठक में बीएसए ने बताया कि जनपद स्तर पर लंबित सभी चयन वेतनमान के प्रकरण स्वीकृत किए जा चुके हैं। जिन शिक्षकों के चयन वेतनमान सर्विस बुक में त्रुटि या अन्य तकनीकी कारणों से स्वीकृत नहीं हो सके हैं, वे संबंधित खंड शिक्षा अधिकारी के माध्यम से अपना प्रकरण जिला कार्यालय भेजें, ताकि उनका मामला भी शीघ्र स्वीकृत कराया जा सके।

    रुके हुए वेतन के संबंध में उन्होंने कहा कि जिला कार्यालय में साक्ष्यों सहित प्राप्त अधिकांश प्रकरणों का निस्तारण किया जा चुका है। यदि किसी शिक्षक का वेतन अभी भी लंबित है तो वह आदेश, साक्ष्य एवं प्रार्थना पत्र पुनः खंड शिक्षा अधिकारी के माध्यम से भेज दें। संस्तुति मिलते ही वेतन बहाली के आदेश जारी कर दिए जाएंगे।

    बीएसए ने बताया कि सभी पात्र शिक्षकों के एसीपी (ACP) स्वीकृत किए जा चुके हैं, जबकि एरियर भुगतान सहित अन्य वित्तीय मामलों पर भी विभाग सकारात्मक कार्रवाई कर रहा है।

    विद्यालय परिसरों से गुजर रही हाई टेंशन बिजली लाइनों को हटाने की कार्रवाई जारी है। जिन विद्यालयों में यह समस्या है, वहां के शिक्षक संबंधित खंड शिक्षा अधिकारी को सूचना दें ताकि विद्युत विभाग के सहयोग से शीघ्र कार्रवाई कराई जा सके।

    ऑडिट को लेकर बीएसए ने कहा कि शिक्षक कैश बुक, मिड-डे मील रजिस्टर और छात्र पंजिका को अद्यतन रखें। उन्होंने भरोसा दिलाया कि ऑडिट के नाम पर अनावश्यक परेशान होने की आवश्यकता नहीं है। जूनियर शिक्षक संघ द्वारा विद्यालय के प्रधान को भी ऑडिट प्रक्रिया में शामिल किए जाने की मांग पर उन्होंने आवश्यक कार्रवाई का आश्वासन दिया।

    बैठक में बीएसए ने सभी शिक्षकों से ऑनलाइन छात्र एवं अध्यापक उपस्थिति नियमित रूप से दर्ज करने की अपील की।

    बैठक की सबसे महत्वपूर्ण घोषणा यह रही कि अब प्रत्येक 15 दिन में जिला बेसिक शिक्षा अधिकारी शिक्षक संगठनों के साथ नियमित बैठक करेंगे, जिससे शिक्षकों की समस्याओं का त्वरित समाधान सुनिश्चित किया जा सके। इस निर्णय का सभी शिक्षक संगठनों ने स्वागत करते हुए इसे संवाद और पारदर्शिता की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण पहल बताया।

    बैठक के अंत में जूनियर शिक्षक संघ ने अपनी विभिन्न मांगों एवं सुझावों का लिखित ज्ञापन जिला बेसिक शिक्षा अधिकारी को सौंपा तथा सकारात्मक सहयोग के लिए उनका आभार व्यक्त किया।

    Bahraich, July 3: A spiritually charged atmosphere prevailed at Bliss Resort in Bahraich on Thursday as a group of devotees embarking on the sacred Kailash Mansarovar Yatra set off for Nepal after receiving a warm traditional send-off. The pilgrims were welcomed with tilak, flower garlands, Vedic chants, and prayers, seeking Lord Shiva’s blessings for a safe and successful pilgrimage.

    The yatra group comprises devotees from Mumbai (Maharashtra), Meerut and Khatauli (Muzaffarnagar) in Uttar Pradesh, and Rishikesh (Uttarakhand). Following their scheduled itinerary, the pilgrims departed for Nepalgunj, from where they will continue their journey towards the revered Mansarovar Lake and Mount Kailash.

    Welcoming the pilgrims, Manish Malhotra, Proprietor of Bliss Resort, described the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra as much more than a religious expedition. “It is a unique confluence of faith, devotion, and spiritual awakening. It is our privilege to serve the devotees and bid them farewell with heartfelt prayers for a blessed journey,” he said.

    Expressing his excitement, Alok Kumar Agarwal from Mumbai said his lifelong dream of visiting Kailash Mansarovar was finally coming true. “My entire family is thrilled. Receiving the opportunity to seek Lord Shiva’s blessings is nothing short of divine grace,” he said.

    Kamal Nayan Gohal from Meerut described the pilgrimage as a journey that tests the body, mind, and soul while offering immense spiritual energy. He said he had undertaken the yatra with complete devotion to Lord Bholenath.

    For fellow Mumbai pilgrim Sanjay Vasantrao Deshmukh, witnessing the majestic Mount Kailash and the holy Mansarovar Lake is the ultimate aspiration of every Shiva devotee. He expressed confidence that the pilgrimage would become the most memorable spiritual experience of his life.

    Young pilgrim Pradhnya Deshmukh shared that she had heard stories of Kailash Mansarovar since childhood and felt deeply inspired to finally visit the sacred destination. She emphasized the importance of the younger generation remaining connected to India’s spiritual traditions, culture, and heritage.

    Seema Agarwal, also from Mumbai, said the pilgrimage represented more than a visit to a holy place. “For me, this journey is a path to inner peace and complete surrender to the Almighty. Being part of this sacred yatra is an unforgettable blessing,” she said.

    बहराइच, 3 जुलाई। कैलाश मानसरोवर की पावन यात्रा पर निकले श्रद्धालुओं का एक दल गुरुवार को बहराइच स्थित ब्लिस रिजॉर्ट से नेपाल के लिए रवाना हुआ। प्रस्थान से पूर्व श्रद्धालुओं का तिलक, पुष्पमाला और वैदिक मंत्रोच्चार के बीच स्वागत किया गया तथा उनकी सुरक्षित एवं मंगलमय यात्रा की कामना की गई।

    इस वर्ष के दल में महाराष्ट्र के मुंबई, उत्तर प्रदेश के मेरठ और खतौली (मुजफ्फरनगर) तथा उत्तराखंड के ऋषिकेश सहित विभिन्न शहरों से आए कुल 19 श्रद्धालु शामिल हैं। यह दल नेपालगंज के रास्ते आगे निर्धारित कार्यक्रम के अनुसार कैलाश मानसरोवर के लिए रवाना हुआ।

    ✨ In a significant step towards women empowerment, self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods, a five-day Food Processing Training Programme concluded successfully in Bardiya village of Bahraich district under the WII-NMCG ‘Jalaj’ Project, implemented by the Wildlife Institute of India (WII).

    🌾 Empowering Riverbank Communities

    The training, held from June 17 to 21, aimed to equip women from riverbank communities with practical skills in food processing and value addition of local agricultural produce. A total of 25 women, primarily from the Tharu tribal community, enthusiastically participated in the programme.

    Participants received hands-on training in preparing a range of marketable food products, including:

The event also featured a heartfelt tribute meeting in memory of Late Nand Kanwal Ji, mother of US-based social worker Sardar Princi Singh.

    🗣️ Addressing the congregation as the chief guest, Tarvinder Singh Marwah, BJP MLA from Delhi’s Jangpura Assembly constituency and Chairman of the Delhi Government’s Minority Welfare Committee, said that the sacrifices made by Sikh Gurus for humanity, justice, and religious freedom are unparalleled in Indian history.

    Bahraich, May 29: Enumerators and supervisors who demonstrated exceptional performance during Phase-I of Census 2027—‘House Listing and House Enumeration’ (HLB)—were honored in Bahraich district for completing their assigned work with dedication, accuracy, and efficiency. Officials informed that nearly 200 enumerators who achieved 100 percent completion of house enumeration work are being recognized for their contribution.

    Additional District Magistrate and District Census Officer Amit Kumar honored Jyoti Gaur, Assistant Teacher at Primary School Badgaon-I under Risia Development Block in Nanpara Tehsil, and Seema Pal, Assistant Teacher at Primary School Padritara, at his office in the Collectorate for completing the HLB work ahead of schedule. He stated that other enumerators who have shown exemplary performance would also be honored at the tehsil level.

    ADM Kumar said that a total of 6,233 enumerators have been deployed across the district for Census 2027 operations. Out of them, 200 enumerators have successfully completed the House Listing and House Enumeration work in their respective areas. He appealed to residents to cooperate fully with census officials and employees, emphasizing that the census forms the foundation for planning and implementing development schemes. He also assured that the entire census process is secure and all information collected remains strictly confidential.

    Naib Tehsildar Nanpara Shailesh Awasthi stated that under Phase-I of Census 2027, initiated by the Government of India in 2026, enumerators and supervisors who carried out their responsibilities with dedication, responsibility, and accuracy were honored with Certificates of Appreciation after successfully completing enumeration of all houses in their assigned HLB areas.

    Bahraich, May 29: A district-level ‘Kisan Diwas’ (Farmers’ Day) programme was organized at the Vikas Bhawan auditorium on Thursday under the chairmanship of Chief Development Officer (CDO) Sunil Kumar Dhanwanta. During the meeting, farmers raised several issues related to crop procurement, pending payments, seeds, and agriculture-related services.

    Addressing officials from the Agriculture and Allied Departments, the CDO directed them to ensure the prompt and quality resolution of all grievances received during the programme. He encouraged farmers to adopt natural farming practices to increase their income and reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers. Assuring farmers of administrative support, he said any farmer could directly approach his office with complaints, which would be resolved on priority.

    During the meeting, progressive farmers Hari Sharan Singh and Lalata Prasad Gupta demanded the establishment of maize procurement centres in Bahraich district, stating that maize production had been exceptionally high during the recent Rabi season.Farmers’ Raise Maize Procurement, Wheat Payment Issues at Kisan Diwas in Bahraich

    Farmer Anil Kumar Mishra from Nawabganj complained that despite selling his wheat crop over a month ago, he had not yet received payment for the produce. Another farmer, Lalata Prasad Gupta, sought clarification from Forest Department officials regarding tree felling regulations.

    Responding to the query, the Forest Department representative informed the gathering that 26 species of trees, including mango trees, have been placed under the restricted category and cannot be cut without prior permission. However, farmers or individuals requiring the felling of such trees may obtain permission from the Forest Department through the prescribed process.

    Dr. C.P.N. Gautam, Senior Scientist and Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), advised farmers to carefully select quality seeds to ensure better crop productivity during the upcoming Kharif season. KVK scientist Dr. Nandan Singh urged farmers to reduce excessive use of DAP and Urea fertilizers, warning that overuse of chemical fertilizers is adversely affecting soil fertility.

    Deputy Director of Agriculture Vinay Kumar Verma informed the gathering that a Millet Processing Unit would soon be established in Bahraich district. He said the facility would greatly benefit local millet growers by enabling easy processing of their produce within the district itself.

    He also appealed to farmers to get their Farmer Registries prepared at the earliest, stating that the government is giving top priority to the registry process. Farmers were also requested to motivate fellow farmers to complete their registrations.

    District Agriculture Officer Subedar Yadav informed farmers that those interested in obtaining mini-kits of millets and other seeds should register through the ‘Darshan-1’ portal. He further stated that Dhaincha (Sesbania) seeds and other Kharif season seeds are available at government agricultural seed stores across the district at a 50 percent subsidy.

    He added that the government has ensured the timely supply of Dhaincha seeds this season so that farmers can easily avail themselves of the subsidized seeds for green manuring and soil improvement purposes.

    Marking a major push towards modern and technology-enabled education, “The Teacher App,” an innovative initiative developed jointly by the Bharti Airtel Foundation and NITI Aayog, was launched in Bahraich during a special ceremony organized at the Vikas Bhawan auditorium. The app was formally inaugurated by Chief Development Officer (CDO) Sunil Kumar Dhanwanta and District Basic Education Officer (BSA) Ashish Kumar Singh in the presence of senior education officials, Block Education Officers, SRGs, ARPs, principals, and teachers from different parts of the district.

    Speaking at the event, CDO Sunil Kumar Dhanwanta highlighted the growing importance of digital tools in transforming the education system and ensuring better learning standards. He said the newly launched application should not remain limited to providing teaching material alone, but should become a dynamic platform that connects classroom teaching, innovative educational practices, and continuous monitoring of students’ academic progress.

    Encouraging active participation from educators, the CDO urged teachers to use the platform for sharing successful teaching methods, creative classroom activities, and innovative ideas so that a healthy culture of learning, collaboration, and academic excellence could be promoted across the district. He noted that such digital initiatives would not only strengthen teachers professionally but would also contribute significantly to improving educational outcomes among students.

    During the programme, the “Saksharta Bharti Abhiyan” booklet was also unveiled jointly by the CDO, BSA, and the State Project Coordinator of the Bharti Airtel Foundation. Officials described the booklet as an important tool for promoting literacy awareness and community participation in education. Under the initiative, schoolchildren will encourage literacy among their family members and communities during the summer vacation, helping spread educational awareness at the grassroots level.

    Addressing the gathering, BSA Ashish Kumar Singh said the inclusion of provisions related to the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023 makes the application highly progressive and relevant to present educational needs. He stated that the app would not only enhance teachers’ technical capabilities but would also help improve classroom teaching standards and students’ learning achievements in government schools.

    Block Education Officer Anurag Kumar Mishra informed that “The Teacher App” will be available free of cost for all teachers and can be accessed through Android, iOS, and web platforms, making it easy to use on smartphones, tablets, and computers alike. Available in both Hindi and English, the app offers several modern features including digital lesson planning, e-content and video-based study material, subject-wise question banks, practice resources, online training modules, educational content-sharing facilities, and AI-powered academic assistance.

    He further stated that the platform would also encourage collaborative learning and innovative teaching practices among educators. The programme was attended by Bharti Airtel Foundation State Project Coordinator Brajesh Bhardwaj along with foundation teams from Bahraich, Shravasti, and Lucknow.
