बहराइच, 16 सितंबर। जिले में घरेलू गैस सिलेंडरों के अवैध भंडारण और रिफिलिंग के खिलाफ चलाए जा रहे अभियान के तहत पूर्ति विभाग की टीम ने एक गैस चूल्हा रिपेयरिंग की दुकान पर छापा मारकर बड़ी संख्या में घरेलू गैस सिलेंडर और रिफिलिंग उपकरण बरामद किए। मामले में दुकानदार के खिलाफ आवश्यक वस्तु अधिनियम के तहत एफआईआर दर्ज कराई गई है।
जिला पूर्ति अधिकारी नरेन्द्र तिवारी ने बताया कि सोमवार को पूर्ति निरीक्षक तेजवापुर अमरजीत वर्मा के साथ क्षेत्र भ्रमण के दौरान शाम करीब पांच बजे तहसील महसी के तेजवापुर ब्लॉक अंतर्गत ग्रामसभा तारापुर खुर्द में मेटुकहा चौराहे के पास मानपुरवा मार्ग पर एक दुकान का निरीक्षण किया गया। मदरसे के सामने नैमुद्दीन के मकान में इरसाद पुत्र मैनुद्दीन द्वारा गैस चूल्हा रिपेयरिंग की दुकान संचालित की जा रही थी।
निरीक्षण के दौरान दुकान से भारत पेट्रोलियम के दो, इंडेन का एक और हिंदुस्तान पेट्रोलियम का एक घरेलू गैस सिलेंडर भरा हुआ मिला। इनमें दो सिलेंडरों पर कैप लगे थे, जबकि दो बिना कैप के थे। इसके अलावा एचपी के छह खाली, भारत गैस के दो तथा इंडेन के दो खाली घरेलू गैस सिलेंडर भी बरामद हुए। मौके पर गैस रिफिलिंग के लिए इस्तेमाल किए जाने वाले तीन रिफिलिंग उपकरण भी पाए गए।
पूर्ति विभाग के अनुसार, सिलेंडरों से संबंधित अभिलेख मांगे जाने पर दुकानदार द्वारा नियमानुसार कोई दस्तावेज प्रस्तुत नहीं किया गया। इससे प्रथमदृष्टया घरेलू एलपीजी सिलेंडरों के अवैध भंडारण, रिफिलिंग और बिक्री की अनियमितता सामने आई।
विभाग ने इसे एलपीजी कंट्रोल आर्डर-2000 के प्रावधानों का उल्लंघन मानते हुए आवश्यक वस्तु अधिनियम, 1955 की धारा 3/7 के तहत कार्रवाई की। जिलाधिकारी की 14 सितंबर 2026 की अनुमति के क्रम में संबंधित दुकानदार के विरुद्ध थाना रामगांव में मुकदमा दर्ज कराया गया है।
जिला पूर्ति अधिकारी नरेन्द्र तिवारी ने कहा कि घरेलू गैस सिलेंडरों के दुरुपयोग की रोकथाम के लिए जांच अभियान आगे भी जारी रहेगा। उन्होंने होटल संचालकों तथा ठेला, रेहड़ी-पटरी दुकानदारों से प्रतिष्ठानों में नियमानुसार व्यावसायिक गैस सिलेंडरों का ही इस्तेमाल करने की अपील की है।
उन्होंने गैस चूल्हा रिपेयरिंग का कार्य करने वाले दुकानदारों को भी चेतावनी दी कि वे अपनी दुकानों पर घरेलू गैस सिलेंडरों का अवैध भंडारण अथवा रिफिलिंग न करें। नियमों का उल्लंघन पाए जाने पर संबंधित के खिलाफ वैधानिक कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
बहराइच। मूसलाधार बारिश और खराब मौसम के बावजूद विद्यालय पहुंचे बच्चों के लिए कंपोजिट विद्यालय धरसवां में सोमवार का दिन खास बन गया। छात्रा नित्या के शुभ मंगल जन्मदिन के अवसर पर विद्यालय आने वाले सभी विद्यार्थियों को कापी, पेन, कलर बॉक्स और मिष्ठान वितरित किया गया। शैक्षिक सामग्री और मिठाई पाकर बच्चों के चेहरों पर खुशी साफ दिखाई दी और बारिश के बीच विद्यालय का वातावरण उत्साह एवं उल्लास से भर गया।
कार्यक्रम का आयोजन बच्चों के बीच अपनत्व, प्रोत्साहन और शिक्षा के प्रति रुचि बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से किया गया। विद्यालय के प्रधानाध्यापक एवं जूनियर शिक्षक संघ के अध्यक्ष विद्या विलास पाठक ने स्वयं बच्चों को कापी, पेन और कलर बॉक्स वितरित किए तथा उन्हें नियमित रूप से पढ़ाई करने और अपनी प्रतिभा को निखारने के लिए प्रेरित किया।
कार्यक्रम में प्राथमिक स्तर की शिक्षिका अमिता श्रीवास्तव का विशेष सौजन्य रहा। आयोजन को सफल बनाने में अमिता श्रीवास्तव (जूनियर स्तर), जय देवी, रमेश कुमार और अर्चना सिंह का भी महत्वपूर्ण योगदान रहा। शिक्षकों ने बच्चों के साथ आत्मीय संवाद करते हुए उन्हें शिक्षा के महत्व और निरंतर सीखने के लिए प्रेरित किया।
प्रोत्साहन से बच्चों में बढ़ता है आत्मविश्वास
इस अवसर पर प्रधानाध्यापक विद्या विलास पाठक ने कहा कि बच्चों के जीवन में छोटे-छोटे प्रोत्साहन भी उनके लिए बड़ी प्रेरणा बन सकते हैं। ऐसे आयोजन बच्चों और शिक्षकों के बीच केवल औपचारिक संबंध नहीं रहने देते, बल्कि उनमें आत्मिक समन्वय और अपनत्व की भावना विकसित करते हैं। जब बच्चे अपने शिक्षकों को अपने सुख-दुख और खुशियों में सहभागी पाते हैं तो विद्यालय उनके लिए अधिक सहज और सकारात्मक स्थान बन जाता है।
उन्होंने कहा कि शैक्षिक सामग्री का वितरण केवल उपहार देना नहीं है, बल्कि बच्चों को यह संदेश देना है कि उनकी शिक्षा और उनका भविष्य समाज एवं शिक्षकों के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है। कापी, पेन और कलर बॉक्स जैसी सामग्री बच्चों को पढ़ाई के साथ-साथ रचनात्मक गतिविधियों के लिए भी प्रोत्साहित करती है।
बीईओ अनुराग मिश्रा की प्रेरणा को बताया अनुकरणीय
विद्या विलास पाठक ने खंड शिक्षा अधिकारी अनुराग मिश्रा को ऐसे रचनात्मक एवं बाल-केंद्रित आयोजनों की प्रेरणा का स्रोत बताते हुए कहा कि बच्चों की शिक्षा और उनके सर्वांगीण विकास के प्रति उनका चिंतन अनुकरणीय है। उन्होंने कहा कि बच्चों के ज्ञान-विकास और व्यवहारिक समझ को लेकर मिश्रा द्वारा लिखी गई पुस्तकें भी विद्यार्थियों के लिए उपयोगी हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि विद्यालयों में इस तरह के आयोजन बच्चों में पढ़ने-लिखने के प्रति रुचि, आत्मविश्वास और रचनात्मकता विकसित करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं। विशेष रूप से ग्रामीण परिवेश के बच्चों के लिए शिक्षक द्वारा दिया गया प्रोत्साहन उन्हें आगे बढ़ने के लिए नई ऊर्जा प्रदान करता है।

लगातार हो रही बारिश के बावजूद विद्यालय पहुंचे बच्चों को जब कापी, पेन, कलर बॉक्स और मिष्ठान मिला तो उनके चेहरों पर मुस्कान आ गई। कई बच्चों ने शैक्षिक सामग्री को उत्साहपूर्वक संभाला और इसे अपने लिए उपयोगी बताते हुए खुशी जाहिर की।
विद्यालय परिवार का कहना है कि बच्चों के जन्मदिन और अन्य विशेष अवसरों को शिक्षा एवं प्रोत्साहन से जोड़कर मनाने की पहल विद्यार्थियों में विद्यालय के प्रति लगाव बढ़ाने के साथ-साथ उन्हें सीखने के लिए प्रेरित करती है। ऐसे प्रयास विद्यालय को केवल पढ़ाई का केंद्र नहीं, बल्कि बच्चों के व्यक्तित्व निर्माण और उनके सपनों को आकार देने का जीवंत मंच बनाते हैं।

Learning for children is no longer being confined to the four walls of the classroom. An innovative initiative of Divisional Commissioner Devi Patan Division, Durga Shakti Nagpal, is creating a more engaging study environment for children at home by providing free study tables to students of government schools.
The initiative aims to encourage children to develop a habit of studying at home in a comfortable, organized and enjoyable environment. The impact was visible on Thursday at Primary School Mudiadeeh in Jarwal block, where Bahraich District Basic Education Officer (BSA) Aashish Kumar Singh distributed free study tables among the enrolled students.
The children were visibly excited as they received the colourful study tables, which are designed not merely as furniture but as an engaging learning resource.
Tables designed to make learning fun
Explaining the initiative, BSA Aashish Kumar Singh said special attention is being paid to making the study tables colourful, attractive and educational so that children develop an interest in using them regularly.
He said the tables feature cartoon characters, counting and multiplication tables, along with elements related to games such as Ludo and Snakes and Ladders. The idea is to encourage children to learn while playing and exploring.
“The objective is not simply to provide children with a table to sit and study. The study tables are being designed in a way that children find them attractive and engaging, helping them read, play and learn at the same time,” Singh said.
Community participation driving the initiative
BSA Singh said the successful implementation of the initiative has been made possible through the support of the District Magistrate, Chief Development Officer and people from different sections of society.
In some places, he said, Gram Panchayats are supporting the initiative, while in others funds available with School Management Committees (SMCs) are being utilised. Community members are also coming forward to contribute and associate themselves with the initiative.
He said the collective participation has helped take the initiative forward and encouraging results are already becoming visible, with children showing greater enthusiasm towards studying at home.
A small table, a bigger learning opportunity
Parents have also welcomed the initiative, saying that having a dedicated and attractive study space at home would make it easier for children to sit and study regularly.
The initiative of Divisional Commissioner Durga Shakti Nagpal seeks to strengthen the learning environment beyond the classroom by giving children not only educational resources but also a space that encourages curiosity, creativity and independent learning.

बच्चों को अपने हाथों से परोसा भोजन
बीएसए आशीष कुमार सिंह ने बच्चों से भोजन की गुणवत्ता, स्वाद और व्यवस्था के संबंध में सीधे संवाद कर उनकी राय जानी। उन्होंने स्वयं बच्चों को एमडीएम परोसा और विद्यालय में प्रत्येक बच्चे को नियमित रूप से पौष्टिक एवं गुणवत्तापूर्ण भोजन उपलब्ध कराने पर जोर दिया।
किचन गार्डन की ताजी सब्जियों के प्रयोग पर विद्यालय स्टाफ की सराहना
निरीक्षण के दौरान विद्यालय के किचन गार्डन में उगाई जा रही ताजी सब्जियों का प्रयोग एमडीएम तैयार करने में किए जाने पर बीएसए ने विशेष प्रसन्नता व्यक्त की। उन्होंने इस पहल की सराहना करते हुए विद्यालय स्टाफ को प्रोत्साहित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि किचन गार्डन बच्चों को पोषण, स्वच्छता और पर्यावरण संरक्षण से जोड़ने का प्रभावी माध्यम है।
बीएसए ने रसोईघर की साफ-सफाई, खाद्य सामग्री के सुरक्षित रख-रखाव, भोजन तैयार करने एवं परोसने की व्यवस्था का भी निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने निर्देश दिया कि एमडीएम निर्धारित मानकों और मेन्यू के अनुरूप स्वच्छ, पौष्टिक एवं गुणवत्तापूर्ण तरीके से तैयार कर बच्चों को उपलब्ध कराया जाए। उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि भोजन की गुणवत्ता में किसी भी स्तर पर लापरवाही बर्दाश्त नहीं की जाएगी।
निरीक्षण के दौरान जिला बेसिक शिक्षा अधिकारी ने विद्यालय के शैक्षिक एवं भौतिक वातावरण का भी अवलोकन किया। उन्होंने शिक्षकों को बच्चों की नियमित उपस्थिति सुनिश्चित करने, गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षण पर विशेष ध्यान देने तथा विद्यालय परिसर को स्वच्छ और सकारात्मक बनाए रखने के निर्देश दिए।
बीएसए आशीष कुमार सिंह ने कहा कि बच्चों को विद्यालय में सुरक्षित, स्वच्छ और सकारात्मक वातावरण उपलब्ध कराना विभाग की प्राथमिकता है। एमडीएम केवल भोजन उपलब्ध कराने की योजना नहीं, बल्कि यह बच्चों के पोषण, स्वास्थ्य और विद्यालय में नियमित उपस्थिति से भी जुड़ी महत्वपूर्ण व्यवस्था है। इसलिए इसकी गुणवत्ता और स्वच्छता पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जाना आवश्यक है।
निरीक्षण के अवसर पर खंड शिक्षा अधिकारी जरवल अरविन्द बहादुर सिंह, प्रधानाचार्य ऋचा त्रिपाठी और सहायक अध्यापक शैलेन्द्र सिंह सहित विद्यालय का स्टाफ उपस्थित रहा। बीएसए ने विद्यालय की एमडीएम व्यवस्था तथा किचन गार्डन के बेहतर उपयोग के लिए समस्त स्टाफ की सराहना करते हुए अच्छी पहल को निरंतर जारी रखने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

Bahraich, August 19: The monthly Kisan Diwas was organised at the Vikas Bhawan auditorium here on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Development Officer (CDO) Sunil Kumar Dhanvanta, who directed officials to ensure the quality and timely resolution of farmers’ complaints.
Addressing the farmers, the CDO urged them to submit their grievances and suggestions in writing during Kisan Diwas so that the issues could be taken up on a priority basis. He also said farmers could meet him personally to raise their concerns. Dhanvanta encouraged farmers to adopt natural and organic farming practices to reduce input costs and increase their income.
During the meeting, progressive farmer Harisharan Singh sought early operation of the Rajapur and Belthara minors, while Bharatiya Kisan Union district president Ramkumar Verma demanded immediate activation of Jarwal Canal Section 5.
Deputy Director of Agriculture Vinay Kumar Verma informed farmers that paddy, maize and arhar crops have been covered under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana for the Kharif 2026 season. He urged farmers to insure their crops by paying a two per cent premium through Common Service Centres (CSCs). He also appealed to farmers who have not yet registered their farms to complete the process through the nearest CSC or Agriculture Department field staff.
District Agriculture Officer Subedar Yadav said adequate stocks of fertilisers were available in the district and assured farmers that complaints regarding their availability would be addressed promptly.
District Cane Officer Anand Shukla informed the meeting that a court verdict on the outstanding dues of Chilwaria Sugar Mill had been delivered, directing 100 per cent payment of the farmers’ dues. He said the way had now been cleared for constitution of the Cane Operations Committee, raising hopes that farmers could receive their pending cane payments after October 2026.
Officials also briefed farmers on the use of Nano DAP and Nano Urea in paddy cultivation, the Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana, and techniques to increase the shelf life of bananas and vegetables. Farmers were also advised to reduce the use of chemical fertilisers and pesticides and adopt natural farming methods.
Senior officials from the Agriculture, Irrigation, Electricity, Horticulture, Cooperative, Cane, Food and Marketing and other departments attended the meeting. Progressive farmers, representatives of Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) and other farmers from across the district also participated.
DM Shravasti, Annapurna Garg while reviewing CM Dashboard performance
Delayed projects, departmental indicators and Single Family ID progress reviewed; strict action warned against negligence and unnecessary delays

Shravasti, August 11, 2026: A comprehensive review meeting of development schemes, construction works and departmental performance reflected on the Chief Minister’s Dashboard was held at the Collectorate Auditorium on Tuesday under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Annapurna Garg, in the presence of Chief Development Officer Shahid Ahmed.
During the meeting, the District Magistrate reviewed the progress of schemes, programmes and construction projects department-wise and issued necessary directions to concerned officials to ensure timely implementation and measurable improvement in performance indicators.
It was informed that in July 2026, Shravasti ranked 13th in the combined ranking of development and construction works, while it stood 36th in development works. Of the 85 programmes of the district displayed on the Chief Minister’s Dashboard, 57 were placed in the A category, five in B, three in C, two in D and 18 in the other category.
During the department-wise review, the District Magistrate called for improvement in the performance of programmes related to Rural Development/DRDA, Medical and Health, Public Works Department and Social Welfare Department. Construction works under Rural Development/NRLM, Women and Child Development/ICDS, Planning and Public Works Department were also reviewed.
The District Magistrate directed officers to take corrective measures on priority wherever departmental indicators and action plans were showing less-than-expected progress. She stressed that every department must regularly monitor its indicators on the Chief Minister’s Dashboard and ensure timely action on areas affecting the district’s ranking.
09 projects found delayed on CMIS portal
The meeting also included a detailed review of the CMIS portal, where a total of 425 projects are currently displayed. Of these, 247 projects are progressing within the stipulated timeframe, while nine projects have been reported as delayed.
Taking serious note of the delayed projects, the District Magistrate directed the concerned departmental officers and executing agencies to initiate immediate corrective action and ensure completion within the prescribed timeframe. She also reviewed the district’s marks and ranking on the Chief Minister’s Dashboard.
Single Family ID progress reviewed
Progress related to Single Family ID was also discussed in detail. The District Magistrate instructed officials to immediately address pending cases and rectify data-related deficiencies. She directed that the preparation and updating of Family IDs for eligible families be undertaken on a priority basis.
The District Magistrate further instructed all executing agencies to conduct regular inspections of construction works, closely monitor both quality and physical progress, and ensure that projects are completed within the prescribed timelines. Updated progress must also be uploaded regularly on the respective departmental portals.
She made it clear that negligence or unnecessary delay at any level would lead to fixation of responsibility on the concerned officer or executing agency.
Concluding the meeting, the District Magistrate directed all departmental officers to work in accordance with government priorities and ensure sustained improvement in schemes, development works and dashboard indicators so that Shravasti’s overall ranking improves further.

Bahraich, August 10: An inspiring step towards promoting rural entrepreneurship and strengthening agricultural services at the grassroots level was witnessed at the Indian Bank Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Bahraich, where certificates were distributed to 19 candidates who successfully completed training under the Krishi Udyami Swavalamban Yojana (Agricultural Entrepreneur Self-Reliance Scheme).
Chief Development Officer Sunil Kumar Dhanvanta was the chief guest at the certificate distribution programme, while Deputy Director Agriculture Vinay Kumar Verma attended as the special guest. The programme was conducted by RSETI Director Suresh Maurya.
CDO urges trainees to establish Agri Junctions
Addressing the trainees, CDO Sunil Kumar Dhanvanta congratulated all 19 participants and urged them to convert their training into sustainable self-employment opportunities. He encouraged the trainees to obtain bank finance and establish Agri Junction One-Stop Shops in their respective blocks.
He said such centres could play an important role in providing farmers with reliable agricultural advice, modern farming techniques, and quality seeds, fertilizers and plant-protection medicines at appropriate prices under one roof.
The CDO stressed that agriculture entrepreneurs should not limit their activities to operating shops but should actively reach out to farmers in rural areas. He called upon them to educate farmers about organic farming, sustainable agricultural practices and environmentally friendly methods of cultivation.
He said greater awareness and adoption of sustainable farming techniques could help improve farm productivity, reduce unnecessary expenditure and ultimately contribute to an increase in farmers’ income.
Focus on sustainable and environment-friendly agriculture
During his interaction with the trainees, the CDO emphasised the need to make agriculture more environment-friendly. He encouraged the newly trained entrepreneurs to act as a bridge between farmers and modern agricultural knowledge, ensuring that farmers receive accurate information and practical guidance.
He also highlighted the importance of extending the benefits of government schemes and modern agricultural practices to a larger number of farmers in rural areas.
Trainees of ‘Prerna’ model canteen also encouraged
Following the certificate distribution ceremony, the chief guest inspected various activities being conducted at RSETI. He also interacted with trainees undergoing training under the ‘Prerna’ Model Canteen programme.
The CDO encouraged the trainees to make effective use of the skills acquired during their training and explore opportunities to establish canteens in their respective blocks. He said such initiatives could provide avenues for self-employment while also creating local livelihood opportunities.
Plantation drive held at RSETI campus
As part of the programme, CDO Sunil Kumar Dhanvanta also participated in a tree plantation drive on the RSETI campus, reinforcing the message of environmental conservation and sustainable development.
Earlier, Lead District Manager Jitendra Kumar Masand welcomed and felicitated the chief guest and special guest. He highlighted the importance of skill development and entrepreneurship training in creating sustainable livelihood opportunities in rural areas.
RSETI Director Suresh Maurya coordinated the programme and briefed the guests about the ongoing training activities of the institute.
All employees of the Indian Bank RSETI, Bahraich, were present during the programme. The event concluded with an emphasis on transforming trained rural youth into successful entrepreneurs and making them active contributors to the development of agriculture and rural livelihoods in the district.
CDO Dhanwanta along with Aspiring Agri-Entrepreneurs
The Uttar Pradesh Government has expanded its tourism development focus to local pilgrimage centres across the Devipatan Division, with the Swaminarayan Chhapia Temple in Gonda emerging as the division’s flagship ongoing religious tourism project.
Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh on Friday reviewed the progress of the nearly ₹22-crore Swaminarayan Chhapia Temple project, along with proposed and ongoing tourism works in Gonda, Bahraich, Balrampur and Shravasti.
A total of 16 Tourism Department proposals under the 2026-27 action plan, with an estimated cost of nearly ₹18 crore, were reviewed. Separate reviews were also held for two Culture Department proposals and four Religious Affairs Department projects.
Addressing the review meeting, Jaiveer Singh said that tourism development is not limited to large corridors alone. He emphasized that improving access, basic infrastructure, visitor facilities and proper management at local pilgrimage centres can significantly enhance the visitor experience while preserving the unique identity of these sites.
In Bahraich, tourism development has been proposed at Pragya Shiv Shakti Temple, the ancient Jangalinath Temple, Jagamrava Baba Temple and Samaya Mata Temple. Gonda’s proposals include Maa Nadna Devi Temple, Jambudwip Ram Janaki Temple, Advait Swarup Ashram, Bhagwan Kapil Muni Ashram and Bhakti Dham. Development has also been proposed at Samaya Mata Temple and Baba Paramahans Temple in Balrampur, while Battha Kuti and Sitadwar have been included in Shravasti’s tourism plan.
The Culture Department has proposed the renovation and beautification of Ramlila Grounds in Gonda and Balrampur to transform them into year-round venues for cultural programmes, festivals and community events. Progress of the redevelopment of Maharaj Paramhans Bariyadih Ramlila Ground was also reviewed.
The Minister directed officials to ensure that all ongoing projects costing up to ₹1 crore are completed by November 2026. He instructed district authorities to conduct regular inspections, maintain construction quality and keep public representatives informed of project progress.
Jaiveer Singh also warned that any delay beyond the prescribed timelines would invite day-wise penalties on the executing agencies. He further directed officials to verify land ownership, assess visitor requirements and ensure long-term maintenance arrangements before approving new projects.
बहराइच, 31 जुलाई। जिला शिक्षा एवं प्रशिक्षण संस्थान (डायट) बहराइच में वरिष्ठ प्रवक्ता राम कुमार की सेवानिवृत्ति पर शुक्रवार को भावपूर्ण एवं गरिमामय विदाई समारोह आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम में जिला बेसिक शिक्षा अधिकारी एवं डायट के प्रभारी प्राचार्य आशीष कुमार सिंह ने उनके लंबे एवं उत्कृष्ट सेवाकाल की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि राम कुमार ने अपने अनुशासन, सादगी, कर्मनिष्ठा और शिक्षा के प्रति समर्पण से पूरे शिक्षा विभाग के लिए एक आदर्श स्थापित किया है।
बीएसए आशीष कुमार सिंह ने कहा कि राम कुमार ने अपने सेवाकाल में केवल विद्यार्थियों और शिक्षकों का मार्गदर्शन ही नहीं किया, बल्कि अपने व्यवहार और कार्यशैली से सहकर्मियों के लिए भी प्रेरणा का स्रोत बने रहे। उन्होंने कहा कि सेवानिवृत्ति सेवा का अंत नहीं, बल्कि जीवन के नए और सुखद अध्याय की शुरुआत है। उन्होंने राम कुमार के स्वस्थ, सुखी एवं दीर्घायु जीवन की कामना करते हुए कहा कि उनका अनुभव और सकारात्मक सोच शिक्षा विभाग को हमेशा प्रेरित करती रहेगी।

बहराइच, 31 जुलाई। वर्षा ऋतु में मच्छरजनित एवं जलजनित बीमारियों के बढ़ते खतरे को देखते हुए जिले के सभी परिषदीय विद्यालयों में दो दिवसीय विशेष स्वच्छता एवं सुरक्षा अभियान चलाया जाएगा। इस संबंध में बेसिक शिक्षा अधिकारी (बीएसए) आशीष कुमार सिंह ने सभी खंड शिक्षा अधिकारियों एवं विद्यालयों के प्रधानाध्यापकों को आवश्यक व्यवस्थाएं तत्काल सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश जारी किए हैं।
बीएसए आशीष कुमार सिंह ने बताया कि यह अभियान स्कूल शिक्षा महानिदेशक एवं राज्य परियोजना निदेशक, समग्र शिक्षा, मोनिका रानी के निर्देशों के अनुपालन में संचालित किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि बरसात के मौसम में विद्यालय परिसर को स्वच्छ, सुरक्षित और स्वास्थ्यकर बनाए रखना सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता है, ताकि छात्र-छात्राओं को सुरक्षित वातावरण में शिक्षा उपलब्ध कराई जा सके।
निर्देशों के अनुसार विद्यालय परिसर, कक्षाओं, शौचालयों, पेयजल स्रोतों और मध्याह्न भोजन रसोईघरों की नियमित साफ-सफाई सुनिश्चित की जाएगी। परिसर में जलभराव रोकने, समुचित जल निकासी की व्यवस्था करने तथा विद्यालय भवनों की छतों पर जमा सूखे पत्तों और अन्य अपशिष्ट पदार्थों को हटाकर वर्षा जल के ठहराव को रोकने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं।
मच्छरों की रोकथाम के लिए स्थानीय स्वास्थ्य विभाग के समन्वय से आवश्यकता अनुसार एंटी-लार्वा छिड़काव, फॉगिंग और अन्य निवारक उपाय किए जाएंगे। इसके अलावा पेयजल टंकियों की सफाई, कीटाणुशोधन और सुरक्षित पेयजल उपलब्ध कराने पर विशेष जोर दिया गया है। विद्यालय परिसरों में झाड़-झंखाड़, घास-फूस और जलभराव वाले स्थानों की नियमित सफाई भी अनिवार्य की गई है।
बीएसए ने विद्यालयों को विद्युत तारों, भवनों की छतों, दीवारों एवं अन्य संरचनाओं का निरीक्षण कर संभावित खतरों का तत्काल निस्तारण कराने के निर्देश दिए हैं। साथ ही छात्र-छात्राओं और शिक्षकों को हाथ धोने की आदत, स्वच्छता, सुरक्षित पेयजल के उपयोग तथा वर्षा ऋतु में होने वाले रोगों से बचाव के प्रति जागरूक करने को कहा गया है। किसी भी असुरक्षित स्थिति या आपात परिस्थिति की सूचना तत्काल संबंधित अधिकारियों को उपलब्ध कराते हुए आवश्यक कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश भी दिए गए हैं।
अभियान की प्रभावी निगरानी के लिए सभी विद्यालयों को साफ-सफाई एवं सुरक्षा संबंधी कार्यों के फोटोग्राफ और वीडियो सुरक्षित रखने तथा प्रत्येक विकास खंड से दो फोटो एवं एक वीडियो निर्धारित ई-मेल पर साझा करने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। बीएसए आशीष कुमार सिंह ने बताया कि अगस्त के प्रथम सप्ताह में महानिदेशक मोनिका रानी स्वयं वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से अभियान की समीक्षा करेंगी, इसलिए किसी भी स्तर पर लापरवाही या शिथिलता स्वीकार नहीं की जाएगी।
Residents of Devanpura village, on the edge of the Kakraha Range in Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary, finally exhaled on Friday morning. The young female leopard that had been slipping into their fields night after night, snatching goats and keeping families awake in fear, was safely captured before first light.
Divisional Forest Officer Apoorv Dixit said the operation began after a string of livestock kills and repeated sightings. Determined to stop the growing human-wildlife friction before someone got hurt, forest staff secured the required clearances and set a carefully placed cage in the trouble zone. A goat was tethered inside as bait.
Just after 4 a.m., the leopard walked in. She was taken without a scratch.
Veterinary officer Dr Deepak Verma examined the roughly two-to-three-year-old female and declared her healthy, alert and ready to travel. Forest officials have already begun the process of moving her to a suitable natural area, following National Tiger Conservation Authority and state protocols.
Dixit urged people living near the forest to stay alert and report any wild-animal sightings at once to the nearest outpost. Quick information, he said, is the best way to keep both villagers and wildlife safe.
A 50-year-old farmer narrowly escaped serious injury after a leopard attacked him while he was watching over his fields early Thursday morning in Parwani Gaudhi village, under the Motipur Forest Range of the Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary (KWS) in Bahraich district.
Pujari, son of Jangli and a resident of the village, had gone to check his agricultural land around 6 a.m. As he approached the field, a leopard hidden in the bushes suddenly leapt at him.
Though taken by surprise, Pujari kept his nerve. He struggled against the animal and kept shouting for help until nearby villagers heard his cries and rushed to the scene. They managed to drive the leopard away into the adjoining forest and rescue the injured farmer.
Pujari suffered injuries to one hand in the attack. He was immediately taken to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Motipur, where he received first-aid treatment.
Acting Range Forest Officer (RFO) K.K. Singh, along with forest department staff, later visited the hospital to inquire about the incident.
In the wake of the attack, the forest department has stepped up patrols and surveillance in and around Parwani Gaudhi village. Officials have urged farmers and residents living close to the forest to stay alert, avoid going alone into their fields during the early morning and evening hours, and promptly report any leopard sightings to the authorities.
Bahraich: Reinforcing the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the NIPUN Bharat Mission, the Basic Education Department organised the NIPUN Sankalp Workshop 2026 at Hariyali Resort in Bahraich. The workshop brought together education officials, academic experts and stakeholders from Bahraich, Gonda and Shravasti to strengthen efforts towards ensuring that every child achieves Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) by Class III through competency-based, child-centric and activity-based learning.
The programme commenced with floral tributes to Goddess Saraswati and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Chief Development Officer (CDO) Sunil Kumar Dhanwanta, Basic Shiksha Adhikari Ashish Kumar Singh, District Inspector of Schools Sarvadanand, Assistant Director of Basic Education Ram Sagar Pati Tripathi and other dignitaries. Students welcomed the guests with Saraswati Vandana and colourful cultural performances reflecting India’s rich traditions and local heritage.
Addressing the gathering, CDO Sunil Kumar Dhanwanta said that the NIPUN Bharat Mission is not merely an educational programme but the foundation of every child’s bright future. He stressed that coordinated efforts by the district administration and the education department would help create a high-quality learning environment in every government school, ensuring that the district achieves its goal of making every child academically proficient within the stipulated timeline.
“The success of the mission depends on our collective commitment. Every child deserves access to quality education, and every school must become a centre of joyful and effective learning,” Dhanwanta said, urging officials and teachers to work in mission mode.
District Basic Education Officer Ashish Kumar Singh described proficiency as a shared responsibility rather than merely a departmental target. He urged Block Education Officers (BEOs), State Resource Group (SRG) members, Academic Resource Persons (ARPs) and teachers to strengthen academic support, classroom mentoring, regular monitoring and innovative teaching practices across schools.
District Inspector of Schools Sarvadanand said that a strong foundation in elementary education is essential for strengthening the entire education system. He called for greater coordination among educational institutions to improve learning outcomes.
Assistant Director of Basic Education Ram Sagar Pati Tripathi emphasised the importance of effective monitoring, innovation and a results-oriented work culture to achieve the objectives of the NIPUN Bharat Mission. He appealed to all officials and teachers to pursue the mission with dedication and accountability.
Principals of District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) highlighted continuous professional development, teacher capacity building, competency-based pedagogy and effective assessment as the pillars of the mission’s success. They assured participants of sustained academic guidance and institutional support.
During the technical sessions organised by the NIPUN Cell of the State Project Office, subject experts made detailed presentations on the latest strategies under the NIPUN Bharat Mission, competency-based learning, FLN indicators, academic assessment, effective use of Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs), school monitoring and data-driven planning. Participants interacted with experts, clarified their queries and shared best practices from their respective districts.
Experts said the workshop aimed to prepare a common roadmap for ensuring every child becomes proficient by Class III, promote child-centred and activity-based learning, strengthen the academic role of all stakeholders, encourage innovation, facilitate the exchange of best practices and improve learning outcomes through continuous assessment, monitoring and academic support.
BEOs, SRG members and ARPs presented successful initiatives and innovative practices implemented in their respective blocks while discussing local challenges and practical solutions. They reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening classroom observation, academic mentoring and competency-based teaching at the school level.
The workshop concluded with all participants taking a collective pledge to work with complete dedication and accountability to ensure that every child in the district acquires foundational literacy and numeracy skills in line with the objectives of the NIPUN Bharat Mission.

Bahraich: In a bid to accelerate the implementation of rural livelihood initiatives and strengthen women-led economic empowerment, Chief Development Officer (CDO) Sunil Kumar Dhanwanta chaired a district-level review meeting under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana–National Rural Livelihood Mission (DAY-NRLM) at the Vikas Bhawan auditorium on Tuesday.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Commissioner (Self Employment), all Block Development Officers (BDOs), District Mission Managers, Assistant Development Officers (Rural Development), Block Mission Managers, Computer Operators and other officials associated with the National Rural Livelihood Mission.
During the meeting, CDO Sunil Kumar Dhanwanta conducted an extensive review of the district’s performance on key components of the mission, including the formation of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), SHG profiling, Vidyut Sakhi activation, Revolving Fund (RF), Community Investment Fund (CIF) demand generation, and bank credit linkage.
Reviewing the progress made up to July 2026, the CDO noted that against the annual target of 5,639 Self-Help Groups, only 1,092 SHGs had been formed, indicating the need for a significant improvement in the pace of implementation. He stressed that all departments and field-level officials must work in close coordination to achieve the remaining targets within the stipulated time frame.
Expressing concern over the unsatisfactory performance of Mahsi, Payagpur, Huzoorpur, Chittaura and Shivpur development blocks, which recorded the lowest progress in the district, the CDO directed the Deputy Commissioner (Self Employment) to seek explanations from the concerned Block Development Officers, Assistant Development Officers (RD) and Block Mission Managers. He emphasised accountability and instructed officials to immediately intensify efforts to improve their performance.
Sunil Kumar Dhanwanta also directed all development blocks to expedite SHG profiling, strengthen the implementation of the Vidyut Sakhi programme, increase the demand for Revolving Fund (RF) and Community Investment Fund (CIF), and enhance bank credit linkage so that women associated with Self-Help Groups receive timely financial support and livelihood opportunities.
The CDO underlined that the success of the National Rural Livelihood Mission depends on effective grassroots implementation and regular monitoring. He urged officials to maintain continuous engagement with Self-Help Groups and ensure that eligible beneficiaries are linked with government schemes without delay.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Chief Development Officer reviewed the government’s target for the manufacture of Tiranga (National Flag) by Self-Help Groups ahead of the Independence Day celebrations. He instructed officials to motivate SHG women to undertake large-scale flag production and ensure that every Gram Panchayat receives the required Tiranga flags by August 12, 2026, enabling timely distribution before Independence Day.
बहराइच l भीषण गर्मी और तापमान में वृद्धि के चलते बदले गए विद्यालयों के समय को अब सामान्य कर दिया गया है। मौसम सामान्य होने के बाद जिला बेसिक शिक्षा अधिकारी आशीष कुमार सिंह ने बुधवार को आदेश जारी करते हुए जनपद के कक्षा 1 से 8 तक संचालित सभी विद्यालयों का संचालन गुरुवार से प्रातः 8:00 बजे से अपराह्न 2:00 बजे तक करने के निर्देश दिए हैं।
इससे पहले भीषण गर्मी को देखते हुए जिलाधिकारी की अनुमति से कक्षा 1 से 8 तक के विद्यालयों का संचालन अस्थायी रूप से सुबह 7:30 बजे से 11:30 बजे तक किया जा रहा था। अब मौसम में सुधार होने के बाद नियमित समय बहाल कर दिया गया है। यह आदेश परिषदीय, सहायता प्राप्त, मान्यता प्राप्त, सीबीएसई, आईसीएसई, मदरसा तथा अन्य सभी बोर्डों के कक्षा 1 से 8 तक संचालित विद्यालयों पर लागू होगा।
जिला बेसिक शिक्षा अधिकारी ने सभी खंड शिक्षा अधिकारियों एवं विद्यालय प्रधानाध्यापकों को निर्देश दिए हैं कि संशोधित समय-सारिणी का कड़ाई से पालन सुनिश्चित कराया जाए। आदेश की प्रतिलिपि जिलाधिकारी, मुख्य विकास अधिकारी, जिला विद्यालय निरीक्षक, सहायक शिक्षा निदेशक (बेसिक) सहित संबंधित अधिकारियों को आवश्यक कार्रवाई के लिए भेजी गई है।
बीईओ के साथ समीक्षा बैठक, लक्ष्य हर हाल में पूरा करने के निर्देश
बुधवार को बीएसए आशीष कुमार सिंह ने जनपद के सभी खंड शिक्षा अधिकारियों के साथ समीक्षा बैठक भी की। बैठक में स्टूडेंट ड्रॉप बॉक्स, अपार आईडी (APAAR ID) जनरेशन तथा नामांकन प्रगति रिपोर्ट की विस्तार से समीक्षा की गई। बीएसए ने प्रत्येक खंड शिक्षा अधिकारी को निर्धारित लक्ष्यों को समयबद्ध ढंग से पूरा करने के निर्देश देते हुए कहा कि नामांकन अभियान और अपार आईडी निर्माण में किसी प्रकार की शिथिलता स्वीकार नहीं की जाएगी। उन्होंने सभी अधिकारियों से नियमित मॉनिटरिंग कर प्रगति में तेजी लाने और निर्धारित लक्ष्य हर हाल में हासिल करने को कहा।
बहराइच। लगातार हो रही भारी बारिश और मौसम विभाग की चेतावनी को देखते हुए जिलाधिकारी के निर्देश पर जिले के कक्षा 1 से 8 तक के सभी विद्यालय 21 व 22 जुलाई को बंद रहेंगे। इस संबंध में जिला बेसिक शिक्षा अधिकारी (बीएसए) आशीष कुमार सिंह ने सोमवार को आदेश जारी कर सभी बोर्डों से संबद्ध सरकारी, सहायता प्राप्त एवं निजी विद्यालयों को निर्देशों का कड़ाई से पालन सुनिश्चित करने को कहा है।
बीएसए आशीष कुमार सिंह ने बताया कि विद्यार्थियों की सुरक्षा को सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता देते हुए यह निर्णय लिया गया है। उन्होंने सभी विद्यालय प्रबंधनों को निर्देशित किया है कि अवकाश अवधि में विद्यालय संचालन कदापि न किया जाए तथा शासन-प्रशासन के निर्देशों का पूर्ण अनुपालन सुनिश्चित किया जाए।
सोमवार को लगातार बारिश के बावजूद विद्यालय खुले रहे, लेकिन जलभराव और तेज बारिश के कारण विद्यार्थियों की उपस्थिति बेहद कम रही। वहीं, कई निजी विद्यालयों ने बच्चों की सुरक्षा को देखते हुए स्वयं ही ‘रेन डे’ घोषित कर अवकाश कर दिया।
उल्लेखनीय है कि पिछले दो दिनों से हो रही लगातार बारिश के कारण जिले में कई स्थानों पर जलभराव, पेड़ों और दीवारों के गिरने की घटनाएं सामने आई हैं। मौसम विभाग द्वारा भारी वर्षा की चेतावनी जारी किए जाने के बाद जिला प्रशासन ने एहतियात के तौर पर विद्यालयों में दो दिनों का अवकाश घोषित किया है।
With Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath scheduled to visit Bahraich on July 21, the district administration has intensified preparations on Monday, Chief Development Officer (CDO) Sunil Kumar Dhanvanta (IAS) chaired a review meeting with nodal officers at the Vikas Bhawan auditorium, directing all departments to complete their assigned responsibilities within the stipulated timeframe and ensure flawless arrangements for the proposed visit.
The Chief Minister is expected to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of several development projects besides addressing a public meeting at the Ramlila Ground in Bednapur village under Tajwapur Development Block.
During the meeting, the CDO reviewed departmental responsibilities and instructed nodal officers to personally inspect their allotted sites instead of relying solely on reports. Stressing accountability, he warned that negligence at any level would not be tolerated. He also directed officials to ensure that the public welfare exhibition highlighting various government schemes is completed well before the Chief Minister’s arrival.
Dhanvanta further instructed all departments to install informative hoardings and standees showcasing flagship government schemes and welfare initiatives so that visitors can easily access information about the benefits being provided by the state government.
The meeting was attended by Chief Revenue Officer Saurabh Dubey, City Magistrate Rajesh Prasad, District Development Officer Raj Kumar, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Project Director (DRDA) Manish Kumar, and other district-level officers.
